Job Description

A full-service defense litigation firm, with an extensive presence in the Dallas area, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal, for their downtown office. Their practice encompasses litigation in general liability, product liability, medical malpractice, transportation, trucking and worker’s compensation. This position is seeking someone with experience in trucking and/or transportation.

With their continued growth, they are seeking to add another Litigation Paralegal to their practice. They look for candidates interested in a challenging litigation position. The right candidate will be given significant responsibility, including drafting motions, discovery, and case management.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements

  • Manage a litigation caseload 
  • Work closely with other attorneys on legal projects 
  • Effectively communicate with clients 
  • Prepare and attend trials, written discovery and depositions

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of litigation experience 
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to navigate novel legal issues 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment 
  • E-filing with State and Federal Courts 
  • Strong computer proficiency 
  • Paralegal Certificate or Certification
