Job Description:

High-profile, international law firm, is seeking a  IP Litigation Paralegal to assist various attorneys and practice groups in preparing legal documents; research and compile data; prepare drafts of documents; maintain responsibility for files, calendars, and meetings, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • IP Litigation experience within a large, international, law firm is required.
  • IP Litigation experience-Research, Filings (Federal and USPTO), Docketing, discovery, drafting pleadings, exhibits.
  • Must have experience supporting attorneys in multiple offices, large firm experience preferred.
  • Patent experience helpful but not required.
  • Trial/courtroom experience is required.
  • Willingness to work for other offices (i.e., Chicago, Boston, and Dallas).
  • Occasional travel can be expected.
  • 10+ years with IP Litigation working as a Paralegal.
  • 1600 billable hours per year.
  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation from case initiation through trial.
  • Assist with and draft court filings and preparations in Federal Courts and Texas State Courts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years with experience in IP as a Paralegal.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Paralegal Certification is a plus!
  • Proficiency with software knowledge.
  • Able to support large groups in other offices (New York, Chicago, Boston).

    • The firm offers a comprehensive benefit package to include parking, paid overtime, medical/dental/vision, 40 hour work week, etc.
    • 1600 billable hours per year.
    • This is a Hybrid role-minimum of 3 days in office a must.
