Job Description:

Texas-based, growing law firm, in North Dallas, is seeking a motivated, goal-oriented, construction litigation associate to join their burgeoning litigation practice. This is a challenging litigation position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Defend construction defect cases for both general contractor and subcontractor clients.
Significant responsibility, including motions, discovery, case management and development of litigation strategy.
Will litigate significant, high-exposure cases against accomplished opponents alongside seasoned trial attorneys who will encourage you to develop your skills.

This position offers a path to firm leadership and the opportunity to help supervise and manage younger lawyers in the handling of these cases. If you are interested in trying cases, the firm has a track record of going to trial and winning for its clients.

Qualifications:

Desire to work in a busy litigation practice.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Texas state bar and in good standing.
Significant trial and litigation experience is a plus!
State & Federal Courts.
5-10 years + experience in construction litigation.
