Job Description:
A premier Personal Injury Law Firm with offices throughout Texas is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Trial Briefing & Discovery Attorney for their Houston office. The successful candidate will manage sophisticated pre-trial motions, including motions for summary judgment, special exceptions, venue transfers, Motions to Compel to discovery, motions for protective order, motions in limine, motions to amend the complaint, motions for sanctions, motions to strike affirmative defenses, and motions to exclude expert testimony.
Also, the Briefing and Discovery Attorney will assist in discovery including the strategic exchange of information including interrogatories, requests for admissions and production of documents, review of medical records, review of accident reports, photographs and videos, witness statements, review of insurance policies and correspondence, employment and income records, maintenance and inspection records, expert reports, review of defendant’s interrogatory responses, review of electronic communications, review of depositions, preparation of subpoena, and independent medical determinations.
